20 Ways You Can Save Money by Using Bicarbonate of Soda

Most people will have Bicarbonate of Soda( baking soda) in their kitchen cupboard and use it when they are baking bread, cakes or any other recipe that needs dough to rise. But Baking Soda has many other uses and can be used as a substitute for many more expensive products.

It can be used as a cleaner in the home, It can be used on the body and can even be used as a beauty product.

Listed below are twenty ways you can use Baking Soda;

Get rid of onion odour on your hands by using baking soda as a hand wash. Use 3 parts baking soda to one part water or liquid soap. Just scrub and rinse clean. This also makes a good hand cleaner for any ground in dirt from gardening etc.

To whiten teeth and remove stains use Bicarbonate of Soda once a week, Just use it as you would toothpaste.

Treat insect bites by using a paste made from mixing Baking Soda with water. Just spread on the area of the bite to reduce itching.

Sprinkle Soda in sneaker, tennis shoes and socks to eliminate odour.

Use a paste made from dishwashing liquid and Soda to clean stainless steel sinks.

Sprinkle under your arms and use as a deodorant.

Sprinkling your cat's litter box with Baking Soda will keep it fresh.
