Next Come's The Biogas
28/Aug/2006: After the sucess of biogas in sweden where it's constituent 'Methane' is used to run engines and cars, Sri Lanka is also looking to produce large quantities of Biogas.
The Sri Lankan Experts think that they can produce enough biogas that can handle the whole fuel needs in local market which almost uses 10000 Tons of LPG a year and 1.8 M Litre of Petroleum fuels.
Sri Lanka has enough resources to produce the biogas. The cow dung from the farms can be collected and used to produce biogas. This will also boost the dairy industry within Sri Lanka.
