Canada To Invest In Wind Energy
29/Aug/2006: Canada is now banking upon renewable resources like solar energy and wind energy. One such step to move ahead in this feild is the transformation of the Atlantic Wind Test Site in North Cape into a national research lab.
Atlantic Wind Energy Test Site has been a vital wind energy laboratory since it was created in 1980 & essentially been the cornerstone of Canada’s wind energy research and development program.
A spokesperson of Canada goverment said that Canada appreciate the research carried out by Atlantic wind energy test site thus the goverment is now going to support the Lab with $93 Million so further researches could be carried out.
This step by the Canadian Goverment is a forward-thinking development. At a time when gas and oil prices are soaring, Canadians have to invest in energy alternatives.
