SOLAR ENERGY- need of the day
31/Aug/2006: In today’s high-tech world we need energy for every thing we do, and to get that energy we use natural oil or natural gases. If we continue to consume Natural resources at the rate we are doing at present, there should be no doubt that in near future we will run short of it.
To avoid getting into big trouble tomorrow, we should take precautions today. The most important precautionary measure is to use and store solar energy.
The main source of most of the energy on the earth is the sun. This energy from the sun comes to the earth in the form of heat and light. It is a sustainable resource, for, the sun keeps burning the massive amount of hydrogen it has in its core. In fact, each day, more energy reaches the Earth from the sun than what is required.
Due to its being 100% pollution free, it is called 'Green Power' or ‘Clean energy’. Solar energy fulfils all our requirements with a number of pluses. Apart from meeting our growing demand for natural gas and electricity, at the same time it is cost effective, reliable and helps reducing greenhouse gases.
