Cooking a meal? Think Solar
31/Aug/2006: Though Solar cooking is a well known idea it was considered messy. What with the thought of cooking outdoors and chasing the sun, it seemed too much of a hassle and deterred too many people.
Wolfgang Scheffler, a swiss inventor and Deepak Gandhi an Indian (who fabricates Scheffler's designs) made a success of the solar energy concept by providing the perfect solution to this problem.
They have designed a solar cooker which is the right size for convenient cooking. More and more schools temples, religious organisations are using these solar cookers as they save fuel oil, and there are no emissions as well.
It enables cooking to be done indoors and is convenient, healthy and economical. This might be the way of the future as more and more people become conscious of the need to preserve natural resources, and become more aware of global warming and the negative effects of pollutants. Think Frugal think Solar may be the new slogan.
