There is money in plastic waste

31/Aug/2006: Alka Zadgaonkar invented and patented the most lucrative process of generating fuel oil out of plastic waste.

In-spite of lack of support from the government this entrepreneur, persisted and has struck gold with plastic waste, including carry bags, buckets, chairs, PVC pipes, CDs, computers, keyboards.

She has developed a new process wherein which this dirty waste which is shunned by society is shredded, melted and converted into highly in demand products.

The amazing part is that there is no cleaning involved with water(saves water), and this is one of the best ways to get rid of plastic waste without taxing the environment.

So while others worried about the increasing trash of plastic piles in the neighborhood, this lady used her imagination and expertise to create a solution instead of focusing on the problem.
